Who we are

Welcome to the Gardener’s Bothy – an independent garden store and rural craft workshop in the corner of the former walled garden on the Staunton Harold Estate, near Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire.

The present Gardener’s Bothy is the shop front for Cameron Forest and Garden Ltd, an established local company of 'foresters, sawyers and gardeners' and also serves to showcase the talent of other local crafts-folk working in wood within the National Forest. Opening Times

Thursday – Saturday 10am – 5pm

Sunday 10am – 4pm (closed Easter Sunday)

We are also open on Bank Holiday Mondays

  • Welcome to the Gardener′s Bothy 2012. We have restocked with our rustic garden furniture and Neil is bursting with new ideas for useful, sturdy, handmade cedar furniture. Jam is trialling a range of new items and we look forward to meeting up with old friends and new customers during 2012.

  • The snowdrops display a delicate beauty while most of Nature hunkers down in late Winter. Our snowdrops are perennially popular, but stocks are limited.
